When someone thinks of Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock, the first thing that probably comes to mind is Black Adam. The film has been a passion project of his which has only just got off the ground and finished its production a few months ago. While that may be the role he’s known for over the next few years, there’s one that may not surprise people: Kryto. Yes, that’s right––Dwayne Johnson will be playing Superman’s dog....

Thankfully, it does seem like it’s all going to work out. It’s been promised that the franchise will retain its R-Rated roots, with there having been plenty of movement on the project—including having both writers and a director already hard at work. With Deadpool entering the MCU, the amount of new content the Merc with a Mouth has to riff off of is insane. While it was once only the X-Men, now it’s pretty much… well… everything....

Spider-Man: Freshman Year Season 2 - now known as Sophomore Year - will be making some disappointing changes before it comes to Disney+.Tom Holland’s Spider-Man has been used sparingly across the MCU due to Sony limiting Marvel Studios’ access to the character. Nonetheless, the studio is still free to utilize the character in animated series and will be doing so with Freshman Year.The Disney+ adventure will explore the early days of Spider-Man elsewhere in the Multiverse and take Peter Parker in a new direction that sees him collide with Norman Osborn, Doctor Strange, Daredevil, and ten iconic wall-crawler villains....

Longtime MCU fans will likely know the behind-the-scenes story of the first Ant-Man film. It was originally set to be helmed by director Edgar Wright of Shaun of the Dead and Scott Pilgrim fame. In fact, Wright was attached to the project going almost as far back as the inception of Marvel Studios as we know it. Ultimately, and much to the chagrin of Wright’s fans, he departed Ant-Man due to creative differences....

Disney+ is providing Marvel Studios with a wide array of opportunities to expand the MCU like never before, and a glimpse of that plan was unveiled during last year’s Disney Investor Day. There has been an explosion of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings promotion with the release of a teaser poster showing off Simu Liu’s live-action superhero costume, still photos from the film and production, and finally, the first trailer for the film. For Shang-Chi fans, it has been quite a happy day. Since the film was officially announced, fans have known that the Mandarin would be Shang-Chi’s father, but it was unknown what kind of relationship they would have in the Marvel Cinematic Universe....

Following Spider-Man: No Way Home, the entire world has no memory of Peter Parker’s existence thanks to the spell cast by Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange....

Sony is rapidly looking to expand on its cinematic Spider-Man Universe, particularly after the disappointing reaction to the studio’s most recent film, Morbius. On top of Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s Kraven the Hunter and potentially Tom Hardy’s Venom 3, Dakota Johnson will also bring a new outing in Madame Web. She even recently got her first co-star for the movie - Sydney Sweeney. Following her time on the award-winning Euphoria next to Spider-Man: No Way Home’s Zendaya, Sweeney is ready to take on her first role in the world of superhero movies - arguably her biggest role to date....

With reports of Matt Reeves’ The Batman 2 coming to light, the director teased a deep connection between the sequel and HBO Max’s The Penguin series. Reeves is nearly a year post the resounding success of his first DC epic The Batman and has begun work on rounding out his take on the Caped Crusader’s universe. Part of this effort is the inevitable sequel film, and a streaming series focusing on Colin Farrell’s Penguin....

After months of searching, it looks as though The CW’s Superman & Lois has cast its Lex Luthor. The CW’s look at the Kent family has had two successful seasons so far, showcasing an older Clark and Lois along with their two boys Jon and Jordan. In the two years since the series debut, the Kent clan has gone up against plenty of worthy adversaries. Amongst these have included the likes of Atom Man (who looks to be back for Season 3) and the Eradicator....

The Mandalorian Season 3 is expected to fully deal with the aftermath of Din Djarin’s possession of the Darksaber and the reaction of other Mandalorians led by Katee Sackhoff’s Bo-Katan. First official footage from the show revealed that Bo-Katan will lead the opposition against Mando in Season 3, with a scene teasing a thrilling encounter with Grogu. While this sequence didn’t confirm if Bo-Katan will be the main villain of the show, it does indicate that she will use some sinister means to take the throne of Mandalore....

This week saw the release of WandaVision’s most unique episode yet as the eighth installment took the form of a series of flashbacks revealing the tragedy of the life of Elizabeth Olsen’s. “Previously On” took viewers through the Avenger’s life from her early days with her family to her parents’ death, through HYDRA’s experimentation on her, and the aftermath of Vision’s death. Throughout the story, fans were treated to a series of new revelations regarding the various traumatic events of her life and the true origin of her magical powers....

As the Arrowverse prepares to bid farewell, Gotham Knights is set to take center stage on The CW, and a new trailer for the Batman spin-off show has hyped up the arrival of Joker’s daughter. The upcoming series revolves around solving the mystery behind Batman/Bruce Wayne’s death.
