Now that the last episode of Moon Knight has been released on Disney+, concept art for the show is slowly starting to trickle out. These pieces of concept art have given fans a glimpse of what could have been, such as London being consumed by sand, as directly inspired by Jeff Lemire’s “Moon Knight,” but now a scary alternate design for the crocodile goddess Ammit has been revealed. Considering the creativity and work that must have gone into designing the Egyptian gods, Khonshu and Taweret, the same can easily be said for Ammit, who solely appears in the series finale, “Gods & Monsters....

Marvel Studios’ recently-completed series Moon Knight introduced Marc Spector into the MCU. Marc, played by Oscar Isaac, has dissociative identity disorder and at least two other alternate identities that share his body. Those two alters are kind-hearted Steven Grant and cold-blooded Jake Lockley. These three identities serve as the avatar of Khonshu, an ancient Egyptian god with an attitude problem.It’s Jake Lockley who appears at the end of the show, escorting the villain of the piece, Arthur Harrow (Ethan Hawke), out of a psychiatric hospital and into a car....

Even considering that Spider-Man still stands as one of the most popular heroes in comics, his on-screen adventures are set to serve as some of the biggest movies of the next couple of years. The MCU is taking the biggest step on this front with December’s Spider-Man: No Way Home while Sony Pictures has plans for multiple darker stories as well.Venom: Let There Be Carnage will follow up on Venom’s billion-dollar box office haul from 2018 in September 2021, while Jared Leto is set to bring Morbius to the screen in early 2022....

Betsy Boyd had a tough decision to make. The Baltimore college professor’s 17-year-old cat Stanley had stage 4 kidney failure and faced a dire prognosis. Boyd was considering a kidney transplant for her long-time best friend, but was weighing the cost of putting the cat through such a risky procedure. She was also, of course, concerned about the financial expense. “I asked myself if I could make such an exorbitant sacrifice for my best friend,” Boyd wrote, explaining the situation....
