Phase 4 of the MCU has been a series of firsts. In addition to the launch of television series on Disney+, the introduction of the Multiverse, and the studio’s venture into animation, Marvel Studios and Disney have created new ways for the MCU faithful to experience this cinematic universe at Disney Parks and, most recently, aboard Disney Cruise Line. In 2021, Disneyland Resort opened Avengers Campus, an entire theme park land dedicated to the MCU and its ever-growing roster of heroes....

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was a sequel for many more players beyond the title character. Benedict Cumberbatch’s second solo installment picked up right where Disney+’s Emmy-winning WandaVision left off, allowing Elizabeth Olsen to continue her Scarlet Witch legacy where she last left it. Marvel Studios is more than halfway through its final Disney+ show of the year, Hawkeye, which is bringing new surprises seemingly every week with the original Avenger’s solo story. From teases pointing to Vincent D’Onofrio’s return as Kingpin to Episode 4’s confirmation that Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova is on the hunt for Clint Barton, the last two episodes of the season have plenty of threads to tie off. Clint Barton is now dealing with an incredible amount of trouble during a holiday season he still wants to spend with his family, particularly with at least two or more parties actively looking to take him out....

What If..? is set to showcase the MCU multiverse in a unique way, revealing alternate storylines from the vast Infinity Saga. The anticipation is high for the upcoming series, especially considering that this is Marvel Studios’ first foray in the animated realm. What If..? will feature certain MCU events that play out differently while also revealing unexpected team-ups between characters like Tony Stark and Erik Killmonger. Marketing revealed some episodes of the series such as a storyline where Hayley Atwell’s Peggy Carter will be the one to take the Super Soldier Serum instead of Steve Rogers and the late Chadwick Boseman’s T’Challa taking up the Star-Lord mantle....

Marvel Studios Producer Nate Moore revealed which two X-Men he’s excited to see join the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), one of whom he’s already expressed interest in.Despite gaining ownership over the Fantastic Four and X-Men in 2019, only the former was announced to be officially in development. Moore mentioned that fans might have to wait “a few years” until they see the X-Men in the MCU.So while the group didn’t appear in Phase 5 and likely won’t in Phase 6 either, that doesn’t mean the MCU is devoid of mutants....

Moon Knight told a thrilling tale of Egyptian gods and monsters, all while providing a deep exploration of its central cast: Marc Spector, Steven Grant, Layla El-Faouly, and Arthur Harrow. The ancient gods of Egypt proved to be a powerful influence over every character, with Marc/Steven serving as the Avatar to Khonshu, Layla to Taweret, and Harrow to the villainous Ammit. Just as they do in Egyptian mythology, each of these gods had a distinct and unique appearance for their brief screen time, no doubt requiring plenty of work to create....

Even amongst a jam-packed slate of announcements from Marvel Studios at San Diego Comic-Con, the MCU’s last movie of the year, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, had its moment to shine bright. Now standing as the final entry in Phase 4, the Black Panther sequel has a great deal of responsibility on its broad shoulders. This movie had a thrilling presentation in Hall H, which ended with the first Wakanda Forever trailer being released online for the world to take in....

It’s like a moving High Line, and is still a very good idea. Moving sidewalks are a form of mass transit that work well when the walking distance and time is just a bit too long; they are most common in airports, but could be useful in cities too. A problem with them is that people can only get on and off them safely if they are slow, and making them multi-speed is a technical challenge....

An MCU sequel to Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is confirmed to be in development, and it seems that Shang-Chi star Simu Liu is willing to make many, many more of them (if he can). Marvel Studios and Disney previously announced Shang-Chi 2, with the studios offering high praise for the work of director Destin Daniel Cretton as well as expanding the universe on Disney+.Given that a sequel is now being made, Liu is now poised to return for another portrayal as the titular hero....

Disney’s Investor Day 2020 brought a plethora of new reveals for its upcoming Marvel slate, giving attention to currently known projects in addition to announcing brand new ones. The event brought new information to several upcoming Marvel shows for Disney+, including Tom Hiddleston’s Loki and the much anticipated Ms. Marvel. Head of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige didn’t shy away from dropping multiple bombshells either, with the Marvel producer announcing a Secret Invasion series for Disney+ and the return of Marvel’s first family in a Fantastic Four project led by director Jon Watts....

When people talk about the Passivhaus, or Passive House system of design, the first thing anyone mentions is energy efficiency: the fact that they use hardly any energy at all. For those following along, Thor happens to be the only original Avenger to be getting a fourth solo outing. Not even the great Tony Stark got further than his third solo film–branching out from there to be a main/side character in many other films to follow. It’s easy to say that even with what little we know about Thor: Love and Thunder, this could be Odinson’s most anticipated appearance. He deserves it too–seeing as his first two solo outings were both met with lukewarm reactions from their audiences–with Thor: The Dark World almost universally being considered as the lowest point in the MCU....
