The Marvel Cinematic Universe is going green when it releases She-Hulk on Disney+. Billed as a half-hour legal comedy, the series will reportedly break the mold of the usual MCU fare that gets released on the popular streaming platform, meaning that it’s meant to be far more comical and irreverent than say, Moon Knight. If the rumors are true, the lead character, Jennifer Walters, played by Orphan Black star Tatiana Maslany, might even break the fourth wall and address the audience directly, just as she did in many of her original comic book appearances....

Doctor Strange director Scott Derrickson recently addressed a new list that ranked the MCU’s movies from worst to best.Derrickson’s work on Doctor Strange, which was only the MCU’s 14th movie in 2016, opened the door to wild new supernatural storylines while introducing true magic to the franchise for the first time. The solo movie became an important stepping stone for one of the MCU’s most important characters of both the Infinity Saga and the Multiverse Saga, although the entry sometimes gets lost in the fray when ranking the best of the best in the franchise....

Marvel fans are currently gearing up for the next massive MCU crossover event in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which will bring other powerful heroes into play like Wanda Maximoff and America Chavez. This comes as the next theatrical movie from Marvel Studios after 2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home, the MCU’s next line-up in its Multiversal story. Although No Way Home ended up being the movie that opened the Multiverse for the first time, it was initially supposed to come to theaters after Doctor Strange 2....

Despite the DCU set to enter a new era, multiple rumors have suggested the comic book franchise may bring back George Clooney as the new DCU’s Batman in The Brave and the Bold. James Gunn, as he does, has taken to Twitter to respond to these rumors.The DC universe has seen its fair share of actors take on the cape and cowl over the years. The trailer for The Flash just debuted during the Super Bowl and it features both Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton’s Bruce Wayne returning to the big screen....

The debut of Marvel Studios’ Hawkeye is drawing near and the marketing campaign for the show is moving at full speed. Various clips and TV spots have teased multiple plot points, including a rather confusing rooftop bout involving Clint Barton and Yelena Belova, as well as two MCU newcomers in Hailee Steinfeld’s Kate Bishop and Alaqua Cox’s Echo. The new series is set during Christmastime in New York City, and the holiday vibes are very real within the show’s marketing....

Following Disney Investor Day in December 2020, all fans wanted to talk about was the surge of Marvel and Star Wars announcements. After WandaVision put Kathryn Hahn’s Agatha Harkness into the spotlight to kick off Phase 4, the villain instantly became a fan favorite in the MCU. Now, Marvel already has plans to bring Hahn back for her own mysterious solo project, titled Agatha: House of Harkness, set to make its debut on Disney+ as part of the MCU’s new release slate. At the moment, there are no signs pointing to the specific story that Agatha’s Disney+ spin-off will deliver, or even who will actually appear in the series alongside Hahn’s conniving WandaVision antagonist....

Batman is one of the most popular fictional characters in history. Since the year 2000, the most notable actors to portray the Caped Crusader have been Christian Bale and Ben Affleck. Many fans often debate who played the best version of the character, and while both of them are generally loved in their respective roles, it is no secret that Affleck’s experience as the Dark Knight didn’t go as smoothly as he would have liked it....

The Capsula Mundi burial urn is finally available for purchase. When it comes to stories about green burial options, the piece I wrote on the Capsula Mundi concept last year seemed to strike a chord with readers (other than the typical comments about how useless and ridiculous some people thought it was), but even so, the crowdfunding campaign for the project didn’t really catch on. However, regardless of the failure of the Kickstarter campaign, it hasn’t stopped the creators from following their mission of helping people plant trees, not tombstones....

There are a lot of New Agey gardening tips that abound. Some gurus recommend playing music for your houseplants, or having conversations with them, or even giving them gentle massages or an intimate touch now and then. The third film in Tom Holland’s Spider-Man franchise is coming up quick and marketing for the film is in full swing. After weeks of waiting and speculating over a trailer, fans were finally gifted a proper look at Spider-Man: No Way Home in August. The trailer gave the first hints of the new film’s story which sees Peter Parker trying to undo that cliffhanger from Far From Home where Mysterio revealed Spider-Man’s identity to the world....

Ever since news came out announcing the upcoming release of the Snyder Cut of Justice League for HBO Max in 2021, questions have been asked about the possibility of other films in the DC Extended Universe receiving the same treatment. At the forefront of these inquiries has been David Ayer’s 2016 release of Suicide Squad, about which he has been incredibly vocal, both in favor of receiving the chance at an Ayer Cut and against certain higher-ups at Warner Bros and DC Films who he believed heavily altered his vision....

Annual growth will soon be negative everywhere except Africa. For almost every issue we talk about on TreeHugger, there are always comments that the biggest cause of all our problems is population, that there are just too many people. But as we have noted before, population growth is slowing and we really have a consumption crisis, not a population crisis. Declining Population Growth Now, the United Nations Population Division has revised their population projections down again, as growth is declining more quickly than expected, populations are shrinking everywhere except Africa, and even it is slowing down....

Recent evidence shows that Julian Hilliard and Jett Klyne, who played Billy and Tommy respectfully in WandaVision, were in the U.K. when production for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness began. Additionally, the twins were rumored to appear in this Doctor Strange sequel alongside their mother, so it’s safe to assume that these young actors won’t be gone for long. However, it was a surprise for fans not to see Tommy and Billy age up one last time into teenagers to match their comic counterparts and inevitable appearance as Young Avengers....

The Everglades first emerged in South Florida about 5,000 years ago, after the last ice age ended. The once-arid peninsula became a teeming swamp, where a free-form “river of grass” flowed 60 miles wide and seasonal wildfires roared across the landscape. Bats and flying squirrels swooped overhead, panthers and alligators prowled through sawgrass, and flocks of birds grew so large they darkened the sky. Life thrived there until the early 1900s, when a new railroad brought booming population growth to the ecosystem’s doorstep....

After Sam’s mechanical wings become heavily damaged in a fight with John Walker, Sam lets Torres keep them. Now, devoted comic fans might be aware that Joaquín Torres becomes the Falcon in the comics after Wilson stepped into the mantle of Captain America. And since Torres now has the Falcon flight rig in the MCU, it doesn’t take too much of a leap to guess that he might also follow the same path in live-action....
