Following all of the recent controversy surrounding Olivia Wilde and her latest film, Don’t Worry Darling, the filmmaker’s Marvel and Sony project has gotten a brief update.For those not keeping track, Wilde’s latest movie starring Florence Pugh created quite a stir across the world—and not in a good way.The drama could take up pages of explanation, but, to keep it simple, it involved accusations of infidelity, unprofessional behavior on set, an intense focus on marketing the movie’s sex scenes, actor disagreements, and more....

Matt Reeves, the director of 2022’s hit The Batman, has commented on how the sequel is coming along on the heels of the big DC Studios shakeups.As the fandom has already seen, the future of the DCU is far different than it was a year ago. Now, both James Gunn and Peter Safran are in charge of the newly formed DC Studios, and they seem to be running full speed into a soft reboot of the entire cinematic universe....

The surprising success of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse back in 2018 led to the highly-anticipated announcement of its sequel, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. Set a decade after the events of Revenge of the Sith, Obi-Wan Kenobi was a sort of prequel reunion for both Obi-Wan’s Ewan McGregor and Anakin/Darth Vader’s Hayden Christensen while also a bridge between the prequel and original trilogies, given the presence of both young Leia and Luke Skywalker. While Lucasfilm’s casting of a young Luke Skywalker was announced ahead of the show’s debut, young Leia - who was masterfully portrayed by Vivien Lyra Blair - was supposed to have been kept under wraps....

While The CW’s Arrowverse may be coming to an end in the not-too-distant future, the network remains heavily invested in building the world of DC storytelling from various different angles. This includes the upcoming Gotham Knights series premiering in the near future, which will add to the Batman legacy in a new way on one of DC’s core TV networks. Forced molting is the practice of causing stress to egg-laying hens, usually through starvation, so that they will produce larger eggs later. This practice is common among large factory farms, where egg-laying hens live in battery cages that are so crowded, the birds cannot fully extend their wings. Withholding food from the birds for 5 to 21 days causes them to lose weight, lose their feathers, and stop egg production. While their egg production stops, the hens’ reproductive system is “rejuvenated,” and the hens will later lay larger eggs, which are more profitable....

Tree and yard owners are often faced with the problem of a tree’s exposed surface roots. Tree roots that grow on the surface are difficult to mow or walk over and can affect the growth and health of nearby grass and ground covers. The usual response to remedy the situation is either to cut the roots or add fill soil over the roots and then replanting grass or ground cover....

Unlike its potential companion Disney+ series, Secret Invasion, production on The Marvels has been kept under wraps, aside from some set photos leaking showing off a new costume for Iman Vellani’s Kamala Khan. Outside of that costume, fans know little about the Captain Marvel sequel, but there was one small role that potentially leaked. Last year, One Take News reported that Marvel Studios was looking for an actor in their early 30s to early 50s to play the role of “Scientist Friend,” who the outlet believed would appear in The Marvels....
