Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was an exciting romp through alternate realities that saw the greatest magic users in Marvel battle for the fate of the multiverse. Director Sam Raimi told a thrilling story that was made incredibly fun to watch thanks in no small part to his personal style, which shone throughout the film’s 2-hour-6-minute runtime. Many have compared the style of the film to Raimi classics like Evil Dead and Army of Darkness, especially when the film focused on occult themes....

After going through all of 2020 with no new content, Marvel CCO Kevin Feige announced nearly 52 straight weeks of MCU content in 2021, and even more coming later. The Flash showrunner Eric Wallace may have revealed how the Arrowverse series will end by teasing its emotional wrap-up. The announcement of The Flash Season 9 as the final installment of the Arrowverse series led many to wonder how the superhero show would end. Morbius has had a turbulent release schedule like most Hollywood blockbusters did as the pandemic hit. The ocean is coming for us. Global sea levels are now rising by 3.6 millimeters per year, up from an average rate of 1.4 mm per year last century. In just 80 years, the ocean could be more than 1 meter (3.3 feet) taller than it is today. That’s according to a major report from the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), released in September, which updated the scientific projections for Earth’s oceans and cryosphere....

Even as Black Adam struggled to wow many fans or critics, it seems at least one of the film’s many heroes has made an impression. The Justice Society of America made their live-action debut in Black Adam, with Noah Centineo’s Atom Smasher and Quintessa Swindell’s Cyclone being introduced alongside the likes of the ill-fated Doctor Fate and mysterious team leader Hawkman. We already know that shopping mall anchors gone belly-up can serve plenty of purposes in a second life: community college campuses, medical facilities, mega-churches and even public libraries. Transforming a defunct J.C. Penney into a destination grocery store like Whole Foods has proven to be a particularly attractive method of adaptive reuse, so much so that numerous flailing malls are being resuscitated with supermarket-based life support.
