Supergirl is currently in its final season, but it’s no secret that the story possibilities are endless. Season 6 kicked off with a bang by showcasing the battle of the Super Friends against Jon Cryer’s Lex Luthor. The intense duel between good and evil ultimately led to Lex’s defeat, but the villain had one more trick under his sleeve when he successfully sent Melissa Benoist’s Supergirl to the Phantom Zone at the last minute....

In a far cry from her Marvel role of Wanda Maximoff, Elizabeth Olsen stars as an accused axe-murdering housewife in HBO Max’s Love & Death as revealed by a new trailer. The upcoming limited series has plenty of heavy-hitting talent behind it, with Olsen and Oscar-nominee Jesse Plemons headlining its cast. Love & Death is set for an April release, with writer David E. Kelly (Boston Legal and Big Little Lies) and director Lesli Linka Glatter (Mad Men) lending their talents behind the camera....

She-Hulk is set to hit Disney+ on August 17 and will continue the Phase 4 trend of introducing brand new characters into the MCU. Fans will meet Jennifer Walters, also known as She-Hulk, who will be played by Tatiana Maslany. The lawyer with superstrength will be joined by Mark Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner and Tim Roth’s Emil Blonsky, aka Abomination. A trailer has already been released for She-Hulk, which introduced the character and got viewers accustomed to how she will look, specifically in her Hulk form....

In the past months, fans have been waiting for the arrival of Zack Snyder’s Justice League ever since it was officially announced that it will debut sometime this year. Marvel Studios’ What If…? is set to break endless and unknown boundaries of the MCU. One of these will lie in the form of one of the franchise’s most iconic heroes: Captain America. However, it isn’t Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers taking the spotlight this time around; it’s Hayley Atwell’s Peggy Carter. Steve’s long-time love interest will undergo the Super Soldier Serum transformation in the animated endeavor, thereby becoming Captain Carter. Captain Carter has been predominantly featured in marketing for the show and is even rumored to be appearing in next year’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, potentially making the jump from animation to live-action....

Tom Holland has been hard at work on the next chapter in the MCU’s Spider-Man franchise, which is set to further explore the idea of the Marvel multiverse. Various reports and rumors claim that many live-action Spider-Man alums will return for the threequel, including Alfred Molina, Jamie Foxx, Willem Dafoe, as well as the MCU’s Doctor Strange. Spider-Man 3’s plot is still largely unknown, however. Sony Pictures continues to expand its Spider-Man Universe after the company teamed up with Marvel Studios to break the internet and the box office with Spider-Man: No Way Home. The franchise will continue in the immediate future with Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s Kraven the Hunter, and recently, the team just announced its first-ever Latino superhero in the upcoming El Muerto movie. This obscure character has only had about a dozen appearances in Marvel comics over the years, and he’s best known for bringing the world of wrestling into Marvel Comics’ Spider-Man stories....

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, despite recently getting delayed, is still atop many fans’ “most anticipated comic book movie” lists. The Into the Spider-Verse sequel has been years in the making and promises to be even bigger than the first. Writers Christopher Miller and Phil Lord are back, as is much of the cast from the first film, including Shameik Moore as Miles Morales and Jake Johnson as Peter B. Parker. Alongside these familiar faces come a couple of new ones such as Oscar Isaac as Spider-Man 2099 and Issa Rae as Spider-Woman....
