Disney is in for a thrilling month of content thanks to Obi-Wan Kenobi from the Star Wars side and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness from Marvel Studios, the latter only being a few days away. Benedict Cumberbatch’s Avenging sorcerer is set to take a deep dive into other universes which will throw him and other characters into the biggest MCU solo adventure to date. With both Star Wars and Marvel existing under the Disney umbrella, there’s been the odd question or two about whether the two iconic franchises could ever cross over with one another in a meaningful way....

Marvel’s series on Netflix have had a tumultuous ride, from their early development, cancellation, removal, and, finally, a chance at a second wind. Prior to the creation of Disney+, the shows were initially seen as a way to expand the Marvel Cinematic Universe onto television, giving the likes of Daredevil, Jessica Jones, The Punisher, and more their very own television series. As the shows continued though, a lack of acknowledgment from Marvel Studios’ films raised questions about their true connections to the MCU, in addition to the fact that the series were being produced instead by Marvel Television....

There’s panic among some in the tiny house community about a rule change proposed by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). It would “define a recreational vehicle as one built on a vehicular structure, not certified as a manufactured home, designed only for recreational use and not as a primary residence or for permanent occupancy.” The panic ensues from the wording that would appear to prevent anyone from living full time in any home on a chassis that is not legally certified as what used to be called a mobile home but is now called a manufactured home....

Earth from afar when illuminated by the sun is a beautiful ball of blue and white swirls that inspires no shortage of awe. But Earth from afar at night is an entirely different thing; it’s an elegant marvel, a black sparkling orb with its own man-made constellations. We know this thanks to the incredible images captured by NASA and NOAA and their handy-dandy Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) onboard the Suomi NPP satellite....

Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman was just spotted in footage from Shazam! Fury of the Gods.The next installment of the DCU is set to hit theaters on March 17. It has been confirmed that the film will feature all of the Shazam family as they go up against Helen Mirren’s Hespera and her two sisters.Previous rumors have suggested that Gadot could make a cameo appearance in the upcoming movie, as Rachel Zegler stated in an interview that the two had met prior to playing in Snow White together....

In the years since the release of 2016’s Suicide Squad, most fans have been campaigning to release David Ayer’s cut of the movie, known to be the “Ayer Cut.” This movement came after Ayer revealed that Warner Bros. interfered with his vision for the movie, leading to altering a significant portion of it. While the DCEU filmmaker has publicly thrown his support for the Ayer Cut movement, Warner Bros. appears to be not committed to releasing the director’s cut anytime soon....

Or is it all a big political show? I feel sorry for Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. He spent C$4.5 billion buying the Trans Mountain pipeline project to placate the government of Alberta, and Premier Jason Kenney still complains about everything. Recently dumped Conservative leader Andrew Scheer actually had the gall to complain that Trudeau buying the pipeline “sent a devastating message to the world, and to the business community, that the only way to get a project built in Canada is to have the government nationalize it....

Before the Marvel Cinematic Universe, before Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man films and before the original X-Men trilogy, there was Blade. The Marvel vampire hunter essentially kickstarted the modern era of superhero movies back in 1998, and now, fans in the U.S. can relive the action as the film trilogy makes its way to streaming. The Blade trilogy stars Wesley Snipes as Eric Brooks, a half-vampire or ‘dhampir’ who has the strengths of a vampire but is devoted to eradicating them....

One of the first movies in Phase 4 was none other than Scarlet Johansson’s Black Widow. The founding Avenger finally got her own solo project, set between Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War, which saw her forced to reunite with her old faux Russian family. The reactions to it were generally mixed, with many people feeling that the project was oddly placed and late to the party - not to mention how it completely butchered Taskmaster....

When Sony announced that they would be making a movie based on the anti-hero Morbius, many thought the studio was pushing their luck after Venom was a surprise hit. After all, Venom was at least a widely popular character from the 90s. The most that anyone remembered about Morbius was that Marvel gave him suckers on his hands and the desire to feed on “plasma” in the 90s Spider-Man cartoon....

It has been apparent since the first set photos for Ms. Marvel leaked that the origin story for Kamala Khan would be changed. Instead of sneaking off to a normal party at night like the comics, she would instead be sneaking out with Bruno to attend AvengerCon while wearing a Captain Marvel costume. A new leak for the show points to an even greater deviation from the character in the comics by giving her a new superpower....

Marvel’s Black Panther is once again in the spotlight, largely thanks to Black Panther: Wakanda Forever being highlighted during Marvel Studios’ San Diego Comic-Con presentation ahead of its November release. While it’s been over three years since the Wakandan king was last seen on the big screen in Avengers: Endgame, the Black Panther has made his presence felt in other media too. The hero has made a big impact specifically in the gaming world thanks to his long-standing run in Marvel’s Avengers, being one of the highlights of an otherwise maligned gaming experience since the title debuted in 2020....

A new rumor suggests that Robert Pattinson’s next DC role prior to The Batman 2 could be in The Penguin series.The Penguin will feature Colin Farrell in his unrecognizable role as Oswald Cobblepot, tracking the villain’s rise to becoming an infamous crime boss.The upcoming spin-off series is intended to sit outside of the DCU narrative that James Gunn and Peter Safran are building but directly connect to Matt Reeves’ Batman universe and may even lead into the upcoming sequel, The Batman - Part 2....

Both San Diego Comic-Con and D23 are right around the corner—in fact, SDCC is in a matter of days. It’s these particular events that are usually home to some massive MCU announcements. The last time Marvel Studios took the Hall H stage at the event was in 2019, when they announced most of the Phase 4 slate. So what can fans expect this time around? Well, funnily enough, a rumor recently dropped that claimed to have listed all of the announcements Marvel would be making....

WandaVision has recently concluded its nine-episode with a series finale that answered many questions, but left many more. One of the highlights of the Disney+ epic was the introduction of Teyonah Parris’ adult Monica Rambeau to the MCU. While the character was largely included to set up her role in Captain Marvel 2, the SWORD agent had an interesting dynamic with Wanda Maximoff as she acted as both an ally and an antagonist to the Avenger....

It’s no secret that Zack Snyder’s new and improved version of his 2017 Justice League movie — which is set to release next month — will be a totally different movie to what came before. Due to Snyder’s replacement with Joss Whedon on the original film, following a string of studio interference, Justice League ended up a totally different movie to what the director originally intended. When Snyder was planning out his vision for the DCEU several years back, he had intended for Justice League to take the form of a two-part movie with plans to introduce the Martian Manhunter and Green Lantern....
