Near the end of this summer, Marvel Studios will revisit the legacy of The Incredible Hulk for the first time since 2008, with Tatiana Maslany’s She-Hulk: Attorney at Law on Disney+. This is not only the third new character being introduced in her own Disney+ series this year, but it’s also set to be one of Marvel’s weirdest projects to date. Three months to the day before it premieres on Disney’s streaming service, Marvel Studios delivered the first full trailer for She-Hulk with just under two full minutes of footage teasing her first outing in the franchise....

It looks like Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire will once again be playing their iconic Spider-Man roles sooner rather than later, potentially popping up in next year’s Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.Ever since the two first put on the suit in 2002 and 2012, the actors have become the hero of their respective generations. Their importance in the lives of countless fans was perfectly showcased by how successful Spider-Man: No Way Home was at the box office—a project which saw Maguire and Garfield team up with Tom Holland’s more recent version of the web-slinger....

Species History Catalpa was used by Native Americans in the American South as a poultice and purgative from leaves and bark. These medicinal properties were never developed but the tree was promoted to railroads as the perfect “crosstie” and planted on their rights-of-ways throughout the United States....

Mustangs have been a part of the landscape of the United States for centuries. Ever since the first horses escaped from Spanish conquistadors, feral horses have returned to their wild roots, roaming in small family bands lead by stallions, mixing with various breeds of other escapees — including the Appaloosas and paints of Native Americans, ranchers’ quarter horses and cow ponies, thoroughbreds and draft horses that ditched their farms. The mustang has become an exceptionally hardy breed of horse, adapting easily to rough and arid conditions in the west, with isolated bands still showing their centuries-old ancestry though particular conformation and markings....

For the first time, BirdLife Australia, the nation’s largest bird conservation, has organized a photo competition to highlight the importance of birds and why more should be done to protect them....

Marvel’s presence at the Disney theme parks is relatively small at the moment compared to the likes of Star Wars and Avatar, with only a few rides spread across a few of the company’s six locations worldwide. Not many fans were too keen to learn that one of the writers for Black Widow, Eric Pearson, would be heading the script for one of Marvel Studios’ next projects. However, taking a look at Pearson’s writing career outside of Black Widow, fans shouldn’t be too worried about the hiring choice. Pearson has been with Marvel Studios since almost the beginning, enrolling in the studios’ screenwriting program in 2010 and acting as a script doctor for the MCU ever since....

It doesn’t work. Let’s talk about circularity instead. California is, without a doubt, leading the United States in the fight against plastic pollution. The state has outlawed plastic straws unless requested and thin plastic shopping bags. San Francisco did away with disposable water bottles and Berkeley recently passed an ordinance that will charge 25 cents for takeout cups and make all food accessories available by request only. Now the state is looking to make broader, more comprehensive changes....

Producer Jerry Bruckheimer claims Margot Robbie’s Disney film is still happening. It’s been five long years since Disney released Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales in theaters, but that’s not to say that Disney hasn’t been trying to continue the franchise in pursuit of further box office gold. Back in 2020, DC darling Margot Robbie was reportedly set to headline Pirates of the Caribbean 6 in place of Johnny Depp’s Captain Jack Sparrow....

After months of delays, Wonder Woman 1984 finally settled on a theatrical release date of December 25, 2020. This was further solidified by the accompanying news that the film would also be releasing on HBO Max on the same day, giving viewers multiple options to see the film on release day. Those worried that this may result in a lesser quality experience should be reassured by the fact that WW84 will be available in 4K Ultra HD, as confirmed by director Patty Jenkins....

Six questionable heroes, twelve dramatic seasons, one blockbuster crossover limited series, and 159 episodes of Marvel goodness beginning with Daredevil Season 1 and culminating in Jessica Jones Season 3. For those who missed out on the six street-level installments of “The Defenders Saga” during their time on Netflix, the doors have just opened to a whole new corner of the MCU. Much like the rest of the MCU, enjoying these series to their fullest extent isn’t quite as simple as binge-watching them all one by one....

While last year’s Hawkeye effectively set up Hailee Steinfeld’s Kate Bishop as a new young MCU hero, it also introduced fans to Alaqua Cox’s Maya Lopez/Echo starting in Episode 2. The series followed Maya as she sought revenge against Clint Barton for allegedly killing her father as the vigilante Ronin, all leading to the big reveal of her “uncle,” Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin, by the end of the season. Now, Cox is set to star in her own spin-off show, Echo, which picks up on her journey after shooting Uncle Wilson in a New York City alley in Episode 6....

Marvel Studios’ Black Widow, which will see Scarlett Johansson star as Natasha Romonoff in her own solo film, finally hits theaters and Disney+ on July 9, 2021. Even though the upcoming superhero spy thriller faced a series of delays, Marvel has continued to keep fans engaged with new trailers, promotional materials, and even a recent fan premiere event. Given the excitement surrounding the film’s release, including some early positive reviews, it would come as no surprise if Marvel Studios wanted to continue visiting Black Widow’s past....
