Excitement has grown for the Young Avengers with each appearance of another member of the team, most prominently of all, Hailee Steinfeld’s Kate Bishop in Hawkeye. Many have speculated that the Marvel Cinematic Universe will condense all the young heroes into a single team, including characters like the newly debuted Ms. Marvel. In the comics, Kamala Khan formed and led another team of teenage superheroes called The Champions. However, it wouldn’t be hard to believe that the MCU would decide to streamline the number of superhero teams running around, even if it means that a theoretical Young Avengers team in this franchise would be comprised of at least ten members....

The interrelationship of all a tree’s parts is very complex and especially so is its photosynthetic properties. A tree begins life looking very much like every other plant you’ve seen. Chadwick Boseman, the late star of Black Panther, continues to leave an impactful legacy, both on those who knew him and those who did not. On his birthday, November 29, MCU co-star Sebastian Stan (Bucky Barnes) left a heartfelt message celebrating Boseman and urging everyone to donate to his new charity.The Chadwick Boseman Foundation for the Arts was founded in 2020 following the death of its namesake. According to the Environmental Protection Agency, one of the three major sources of water pollution in streams and rivers is sediment. What Is Sediment? Sediment is fine-grained particles like silt and clay, generally occurring as a result of soil erosion. As rainfall washes away bare soil or a stream erodes a muddy bank, sediment makes it into waterways. These fine particles occur naturally in the environment, but problems arise when they enter aquatic systems in larger quantities than they would naturally....

It really isn’t necessary but it sure is a lot of fun. I am conflicted. The Passivhaus movement is growing all over the world, and the people behind Passivhaus Portugal are very active, running a conference every year in Aveiro, a small city between Lisbon and Porto. I did a presentation by video last year which was evidently well received, and this year they asked me to come in person....

Spider-Man: No Way Home is a celebration of all things Spider-Man. The Tom Holland-led threequel included a plethora of callbacks to previous web-slinging films, which includes Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man trilogy and Andrew Garfield’s pair of The Amazing Spider-Man movies. This all became possible due to the film’s use of the Multiverse, bringing back the two Spider-Men and several iconic villains like Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin and Alfred Molina’s Doctor Octopus. One films that was heavily referenced in the threequel was 2004’s Spider-Man 2....

The Batman is Warner Bros.’ next DC-related theatrical project, currently set to hit theaters on March 4, 2022. With the release date drawing nearer and nearer, promotion and marketing for this new take on The Dark Knight from the mind of director Matt Reeves have ramped up significantly. A new clip from the film was recently released, giving fans an early glimpse into the funeral scene featured in several trailers. Reeves previously spoke about how the film won’t be tied to other characters or teams in the DC Universe like the Justice League, in addition to discussing the approach to this new incarnation of Batman which seems to resemble the strategy used for the MCU’s Spider-Man....

Phase 4 has certainly been the most divisive chapter of the MCU yet, with each new entry having both plenty of fans and haters. The MCU’s latest outing, Thor: Love and Thunder, has been plagued with more of that same controversy, and after receiving mixed reviews from critics, it’s now proving to be divisive with audiences too. Thor: Love and Thunder brings back Chris Hemsworth’s Thor, Tessa Thompson’s Valkyrie, and Natalie Portman’s Jane Foster, with Christian Bale joining the MCU as Gorr the God Butcher....

It looks like the DCU is in for at least one major improvement.Warner Bros. has been criticized countless times for its handling of the DC Comics properties. From all the Justice League drama to the Synderverse antics and even the cancelation of Batgirl—it’s been a long road.Dwayne Johnson recently touted how his Black Adam film was bringing in a new era for the DC Universe. He even managed to get Henry Cavill back as Superman....

The islands of Hawaii are filled with all kinds of volcanic wonders — from the smoking calderas of active volcanoes to the igneous lava tubes forged by ancient eruptions. However, one volcanic feature you may not have heard of is a strange geological formation known as a lava tree (pictured above). These strange columns are formed when a rush of molten lava makes its way through a forest. Rather than knocking down all the trees in its path, the lava’s sudden contact with the tree’s trunk allows a thin layer of lava to cool around it....

Vision Zero is “the Swedish approach to road safety thinking. It can be summarized in one sentence: No loss of life is acceptable.” It is being adopted and adapted around the world, with some implementations better than others. Watching the twitter feed from the City of Toronto’s debate on pedestrian safety (I couldn’t bear to watch the live feed) and reading about what they pretend is Vision Zero was alternately depressing and hilarious, but mostly the former....

After years of waiting for Scarlett Johansson to finally take the spotlight as Black Widow in her own solo installment, her film is finally set to release this year on May 7 to kick off the Summer moviegoing season. Or is it? That’s the question Marvel fans are continuing to ask as many of the world’s theaters remain closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As Disney takes films like Raya and the Last Dragon to theaters alongside a paid release on Disney+, some are continuing to speculate Black Widow may see the same fate....

We’re used to seeing icicles form on tree branches and the eaves of buildings, but they can also form deep beneath the ocean, creating what’s known as a brine icicle, or brinicle. These icy underwater tentacles are often referred to as “sea stalactites” because of their bizarre appearance, but their deadly nature has earned them another nickname: “icicles of death.” The existence of brinicles was only discovered in the 1960s, so there’s still much to learn about them....

Thor: Love and Thunder is set to deliver a brand-new adventure for Chris Hemsworth’s titular Asgardian, marking the first time that an MCU hero will have four solo movies.
