Warner Bros is in the midst of a big week in terms of promoting the DC Extended Universe, which has a big couple of years in store. Much of this has to do with director James Gunn bringing the debut trailer for The Suicide Squad, which is already making waves before its August 6 release date. Elsewhere in the DCEU is Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s Black Adam, a solo film that has faced more uncertainty than any of its peers on Warner Bros....

Black Panther actor Daniel Kaluuya is confirmed to be absent from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, but it seems that the MCU actor has landed another role in an upcoming Marvel movie in 2023. Marvel has a major slate in 2023, with the MCU about to kick off Phase 5 with Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, The Marvels, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Aside from the big projects from Marvel Studios, Sony Pictures will also expand its Spider-Man franchise by unveiling the highly-anticipated sequel to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse which is titled as Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse....

Following DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn’s announcement revealing the projects in the DC Universe’s (DCU) Chapter 1: Gods and Monsters slate, the first two stars in the series have been confirmed.Since first joining the DC Universe with his work directing and writing 2021’s The Suicide Squad, James Gunn had slowly been building his portfolio of work with Warner Bros. before taking over the entire DC franchise alongside his partner Peter Safran....

Batgirl is set to showcase the DCEU debut of In The Heights breakout star Leslie Grace in the leading role of Barbara Gordon. Directed by Bad Boys for Life directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, Grace will be joined by a stellar cast that includes Michael Keaton as Batman, J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon, Jacob Scipio, and Brendan Fraser as the film’s villain, Firefly. The exact plot details are still being kept under wraps, but it is expected to tackle the origin story and the transition of Barbara into becoming Gotham’s next protector....

Disney recently began a yearly event last year called Disney+ Day, in which new announcements relating to the streaming service would be revealed. Since then, fans began predicting what Marvel Studios would reveal at the next Disney+ Day in 2022. In addition to a flurry of announcements for upcoming releases headed to the platform, 2021’s Disney+ Day event dropped a few nuggets directly onto the platform itself. One such reveal last year in anticipation of Disney+ Day was the release of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings on the streaming service....

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is set to bring back Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda Maximoff to the big screen, teaming up with Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange as they deal with the concept of alternate realities. The upcoming sequel is expected to continue story threads from several MCU projects, such as Spider-Man: No Way Home, and WandaVision. The latter seems to be an integral part of the plot as elements such as the Darkhold and Wanda’s transition into the Scarlet Witch are set to be explored in the sequel....

As 2021 inches closer to its end, Marvel Studios moves toward the finish line for its most content-filled year to date within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Much of this is coming from Marvel’s new venture into storytelling on Disney+, which has produced four wildly successful shows thus far before ending the year with Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye. A conifer is a tree belonging to the cone-bearing order Coniferales. Spider-Man: No Way Home marked the end of Tom Holland’s MCU trilogy, but reports suggest that his character’s journey is far from over. The concluding moments of the series’ fifth episode had Vision beginning to question the reality, and notably its absence of any children in Westview aside from Billy and Tommy....
