Out of all the many returning villains in Spider-Man: No Way Home, Jamie Foxx’s Electro was the one who had the most extensive makeover. Gone was the comb-over-ed Oscorp Worker who had been painted blue—instead emerged a new Max Dillion, whose lightning was now yellow as he sported a more practical costume than he had in his first appearance in The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Those drastic changes were received well, which isn’t surprising given how much audiences didn’t care much for the character’s last design....

This is the Disney+ series you’re looking for. Now set to debut with two episodes on May 27, Lucasfilm’s Obi-Wan Kenobi will finally reveal what “Old Ben” was up to during his exile on Tatooine, as well as introduce a young Luke Skywalker, and live-action Jedi-hunting Inquisitors. If that wasn’t enough, the show is also confirmed to reunite Kenobi with his fallen apprentice, Darth Vader. In addition to the reunion between Kenobi and Vader, the series is also a reunion for its prequel trilogy stars, Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen, as their prior Star Wars films are experiencing a bit of a revival....

Lucasfilm’s Obi-Wan Kenobi finally finished up its run after six episodes, and for the most part, people seemed to enjoy the experience. At the very least, it’s probably safe to assume nearly all fans found happiness somewhere in Ewan McGregor’s return. One of the biggest elements of his character coming back isn’t the plot behind it, but rather the technology that helped bring it to life. Thanks to The Mandalorian, and the success found there, Stagecraft’s Volume technology has been utilized on many recent projects—with Thor: Love and Thunder being a notable example right around the corner....

Recently, director Shawn Levy officially signed on with Marvel Studios to direct Deadpool’s MCU film, reuniting with Reynolds after their success together in 2021’s Free Guy. The film still doesn’t have an official release date or a timeframe for when production will happen (at least, not a public one), but fans are already picturing how the Merc with a Mouth will make his mark on the franchise. The latest MCU series to grace Disney+ is none other than She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. As the title would suggest, the show follows attorney Jennifer Walters as she navigates work and Hulk life simultaneously.Jen is brought to life by her actress, the incomparable Tatiana Maslany. The Orphan Black star portrays Walters in her human form as well as provides the motion capture for when she Hulks out.Thus far, many fans love her performance as the character and are already calling for Jen to be made a member of the Avengers....

Few celebrities have broken into the Marvel Cinematic Universe to play themselves. Real-life Tony Stark Elon Musk was the first celebrity cameo back in Iron Man 2. Bill Maher followed him up in Iron Man 3. Both the legendary Stan Lee and David Hasselhoff halfway count because there are arguments to be made they were not playing themselves. The latest celebrity to break into MCU canon is Megan Thee Stallion in Episodes 3 and 4 of She-Hulk....

The currently untitled Spider-Man 3 is one of the highly-talked-about MCU projects over the past months, mainly because of the numerous casting rumors that surfaced about the threequel. Directed by Jon Watts, the Tom Holland-led project is expected to address the massive cliffhanger from Spider-Man: Far From Home, but different pieces of evidence suggest that it will have a multiverse twist. On top of the returning cast from the first two films, the Far From Home sequel will also include Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange alongside a slew of Spider-Man franchise veterans....

It won’t be long before the hierarchy of the DCEU changes with the release of Black Adam. Dwayne Johnson has championed the film through years of development hell and in October his antihero origin story will finally hit screens.While Viola Davis’ return as Amanda Waller seemingly connected Black Adam to the wider DCEU, it was a new trailer for the film that really confirmed its place within the franchise. The Rock posted the latest trailer on his social media accounts, showcasing footage of characters from previous DCEU films, including Superman, Batman, and Harley Quinn....

The new era of the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been built on new and engaging characters being added to the red brand roster. Specifically, on Disney+, Monica Rambeau, John Walker, Sylvie, Kate Bishop, Moon Knight, and Kamala Khan have all made immediate impacts in their respective series. Next up is Jennifer Walters, a superhero lawyer. She is more commonly known as She-Hulk. She-Hulk will become the first “Hulk-titled” project in the MCU since 2008’s The Incredible Hulk....

Yet another study weighs in on the most efficient way to clean dirty dishes. The debate over washing dishes by hand vs. using a dishwasher has been raging on TreeHugger since its inception. In the earliest article I could find from 2005, the dishwasher came out the clear winner, with researchers from the University of Bonn saying it uses only half the energy and one-sixth the water. Fifteen years later, we’re still talking about it, and a new study published in the journal Environmental Research Communications shows not much has changed....

Anticipation is high for Eternals, especially after the official reveal of the film’s first trailer. The movie will be directed by Academy Award-winning director Chloe Zhao, and it will follow a super-powered group of immortals who have lived and stayed hidden on Earth for thousands of years. The fact that they didn’t interfere with world-ending events like 2012’s Battle of New York and Thanos’ decimation during Avengers: Infinity War is a major story beat that the film will address, and it will be interesting to find out why....

Gamora certainly has experienced quite the story arc in the MCU. For starters, when she debuted in 2014’s Guardians of the Galaxy, she served under Ronan the Accuser who in turn was working for the Mad Titan Thanos. Gamora switched sides, however, and found a new family with the Guardians, and a love interest in their leader, Peter Quill. In her third appearance in Avengers: Infinity War, Gamora met her untimely end when Thanos pushed her off a cliff for his own personal gains....
