Agents of SHIELD has a complicated and confusing history with the MCU. The action-packed series was introduced to the world in 2013 as the first television expansion of the comic book world with frequent crossovers to Marvel Studios’ biggest blockbusters. There’s been a lot of Batman news in recent months due to Matt Reeves’ upcoming film The Batman, Michael Keaton’s return, and Zach Snyder’s cut of Justice League. And if it wasn’t obvious already, Warner Bros. is comfortable having multiple Batmen in the DCEU. But if certain rumors are true, fans may see the return of yet another Batman in the near future. In addition to news about a Gotham PD spinoff series for HBO Max, there are new rumors suggesting HBO Max may also be looking to revive a Batman series to add to their streaming service library and their ever-growing cast of Batmen....

Thanks to James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, audiences around the world can now meet the iconic Cosmo the Dog on Disney+, a character who fans have wanted to see in the MCU for a long while now.James Gunn has introduced a lot of new and interesting characters to audiences across the world, and yet, somehow, Cosmo always slipped through the cracks.The famous dog has actually already been seen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, first appearing in the first Guardians movie’s post-credits scene where the dog was licking The Collector’s face....

Black Adam was one of many upcoming DC films to have been met with delays, with the film now without a confirmed release date. Nevertheless, new details have continued to release surrounding the Black Adam’s cast. The Invisible Man’s Aldis Hodge recently joined the cast as Hawkman, rounding out the Justice Society of America that will be featured in the film. Sarah Shahi is also rumored to have a role as the DC character Isis, who will play a “female lead and love interest” opposite Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam....

HBO Max is quickly becoming known more and more as the home of everything DC Comics. Already, it is serving as the home for the Director’s Cut of Justice League, a spinoff series for 2021’s The Batman, Doom Patrol, and so much more in the future. This is continuing today after the exciting breaking news that John Cena and James Gunn will be heading up a solo prequel series centered around his character from The Suicide Squad, Peacemaker, for which Gunn is writing the entirety of the plot....

With Disney+ serving as the home for Star Wars for the foreseeable future, lower budget streaming series now offer Lucasfilm the opportunity to branch out into different eras of storytelling. Next year, Leslye Headland’s The Acolyte will mark the beginning of that push, as the show will follow a dark sider during the waning days of the High Republic.Set 100 years before The Phantom Menace, strikingly little is known about The Acolyte’s narrative direction....

A Marvel VFX artist pulled the curtain back, finally revealing why Thanos might look better than She-Hulk did in her Disney+ series. MCU streaming series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law has been praised for a lot of things, but the questionable CGI has not been one of them. The Tatiana Maslany-led legal comedy has some fans up in arms over the titular character’s CG look, especially when compared to other entirely computer-generated heroes and villains elsewhere in the franchise....

Marvel Studios is now just over a month away from its return to the big screen with one of the MCU’s biggest films to date: Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Featuring a team-up effort for Doctor Strange, Wanda Maximoff, Wong, and countless others, this sequel is set to change everything MCU fans know about the events of Phase 4 thus far. Now that the release of Doctor Strange 2 is imminent, Marvel Studios is kicking up its efforts for the sequel’s massive promotional tour to get fans back to the theaters....

The first two episodes of Obi-Wan Kenobi have officially been released on Disney+, kicking off the journey of Ewan McGregor’s titular character. The series is set near the midway point between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope, with Obi-Wan currently residing on Tatooine to protect Luke Skywalker from any outside threats. Aside from McGregor, the other major actors that have been confirmed for the series are Hayden Christensen as Darth Vader, Moses Ingram as Reva, the Third Sister, and Rupert Friend as the Grand Inquisitor....

With Obi-Wan Kenobi just around the corner bringing the long-awaited return of fan favorites Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christiansen, Star Wars fans have plenty to be excited about. They shouldn’t forget, though, that there’s another adventure brewing in a galaxy far, far away. Andor, which will detail the origins and adventures of Diego Luna’s titular rebel, Cassian Andor, is on the horizon as well.The show, set in the early days of a brewing rebellion against the Galactic Empire, is sure to bring plenty of unique stories of spies and soldiers....

Batman is the key focus of a lot of media out there. However, there are also plenty of projects within his world that don’t focus on the caped crusader; Gotham, Titans, Batwoman, etc. But there is one that has flown under the radar for years now. One which many might be unfamiliar with is Pennyworth.The show follows the story of Alfred Pennyworth, the man who will eventually go on to become Bruce Wayne’s butler....

Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam gets a surprising digital release date, coming much sooner than most DCU fans would expect. The long-gestating DC Studios epic has been in theaters for just over a month and has done anything but light the world on fire. The film was released to less-than-stellar reviews and has earned a measly $366 million at the box office (less than Black Panther: Wakanda Forever did in two weeks)....

There is a never ending debate going on in Toronto about whether to build a three-stop subway in the former suburb of Scarborough, or whether to build a seven-stop LRT (Light Rapid Transit) system. Mayor Rob Ford, who hates transit because it gets in the way of his Escalade, says “People want subways, folks… subways, subways. They don’t want these damn streetcars blocking up our city!” Somehow he struck fear into the hearts of suburban councillors who are convinced that World Class Cities have subways and that LRT is somehow second-rate, and right now the subway, which costs twice as much and serves half as many people, is the approved system....

Tom Holland’s Spider-Man can (and most likely will) make an appearance in Avengers: Kang Dynasty and/or Avengers: Secret Wars. It will likely work out just fine, and everyone will go home happy.This argument of “Why Avengers 5 & 6 Shouldn’t Include Tom Holland’s Spider-Man” is more of a “What if Captain America 3 was more of a solo movie than a pseudo-Avengers movie?” situation. It is less about Spider-Man being a part of the next Avengers movies and more about letting him have his own story because there is a ton of opportunity there....
