The Mandalorian had a successful two-season run on Disney+, but the fun isn’t over yet due to the arrival of the already-confirmed third chapter. Created by Jon Favreau, the hit Star Wars series was filled with exciting cameos, references, and story beats that changed the landscape of the space-based franchise like never before. The runaway duo of Pedro Pascal’s Din Djarin and The Child a.k.a. Grogu led the charge throughout the first two seasons of The Mandalorian....

Before there was even a trailer for WandaVision, Disney had announced that the show would release before the end of this year. When the first trailer for WandaVision debuted without a release month, only saying “Coming Soon,” fans were left to wonder if WandaVision would actually manage to release before the end of the year. Fans got their answer hours later when the landing page for WandaVision displayed a release date for December 2020....

Also called “carbon lock-in,” it’s about time. That’s my fancy efficient Laars gas boiler that I installed in my house five years ago during my “green” renovation. It is way better than the one it replaced, and I justified it because I was breaking the house into two apartments so the per-capita emissions were going way down. But this furnace wasn’t cheap, and has a life span of about 20 years, so I have now “locked in” its CO2 emissions for that time....

While Batman and Superman are the clear faces of DC Comics, the DC Extended Universe currently has other lesser-known faces driving its story forward. At the head of some of those adventures is director/writer James Gunn, who took his talents from Marvel to DC within the past couple of years. Although it is years away from its release, the hype for Avengers: Secret Wars has been sky-high due to the fact that it is poised to serve as the finale of the Multiverse Saga. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige made the announcement at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con confirming that fact, much to the delight of many MCU fans. Given that it is set to premiere in 2025, the exact plot details of the crossover movie are still being kept under wraps....

Blends are mixtures of traditional and alternative fuels in varying percentages. Blends can be thought of as transitional fuels. The lowest-percentage blends are being marketed and introduced to work with current technologies while paving the way for future integration. For example, B5 and B20 (biodiesel) can be pumped directly into the tank of any diesel car or truck. Ethanol is also blended (about 10 percent) into much of the gasoline dispensed in the United States, especially in metropolitan areas, to reduce emissions....

Biogas and anaerobic digestion made number one in HowStuffWorks’ list of wacky alternative energy, and poop-to-energy biogas projects have proven popular on Discovery News too. From biogas in Haitian slums to green gas being sold direct to UK consumers, there are plenty of examples of innovative projects turning biodegreadable waste into both energy and fertilizer. But how can someone at home get a piece of the action? The Urban Farming Guys have just released a great video showing how they built a DIY biogas digester using little more than some tanks, piping, rubber seals and a grinder....

A trip to this gorgeous barrier island located off the coast of Georgia is a rewarding experience for anyone who is passionate about nature, history or conservation. Established as a national seashore in 1972, Cumberland Island is teeming with wildlife and boasts multiple distinct ecosystems including maritime forests, salt marshes, freshwater wetlands, tidal creeks and undeveloped beaches. Over 9,800 acres of the island is a congressionally designated wilderness area. Now that Disney has acquired Fox it officially brings the Merc with a Mouth under the Marvel Studios umbrella, which could make his next film the most exciting yet. Deadpool 3 has been forming the background for a while now. Wade Wilson actor Ryan Reynolds has been clear about his interest in doing a third movie and late last year a writing team was formed to pen the script....

Back in 1893, when states were still a relatively new thing, a women’s congress at the World’s Columbian Exposition in Chicago suggested a “National Garland of Flowers” made of flowers representing each state. Inhabitants of a state were to select the flower that best reflected the character of their part of the U.S., the choices of which were then adopted by state legislatures. The idea took off; state birds followed, and now states have a whole menagerie of natural treasures that play mascot....

Many Marvel fans were hotly anticipating the release of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier because of all the action showcased in the trailers for the Disney+ series. The show’s first four episodes have certainly delivered on that front with plenty of thrilling fight scenes featuring Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson, Sebastian Stan’s Bucky Barnes, and the other characters in the series. While the show’s main actors have undergone stunt training before each of their MCU projects, Marvel employs plenty of specialist stunt workers to perform in many of the franchise’s more intense scenes....

Jeff Loveness, the writer for Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, has revealed what inspired the film’s take on MODOK and what audiences can expect. MODOK’s role in Marvel Studios’ first Phase 5 film isn’t a surprise. The character had long been rumored to play a part in Ant-Man 3, and Marvel Studios’ presentation at the 2022 San Diego Comic-Con confirmed as much. Fans then caught a glimpse of MODOK’s big screen design thanks to a spoilery Funko Pop!...

After plenty of struggles with its universe of superhero movies, Warner Bros. made a bold move in the past few days by promoting director James Gunn to the position of co-CEO of the newly-branded DC Studios. He’ll team up with longtime producer Peter Safran to do a job similar to what Kevin Feige does as Marvel Studios president, helping to push the DC Universe in a positive new direction over the coming years....

The surprise announcement of Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and its follow-up Avengers: Secret Wars shook the ground at San Diego Comic-Con. Marvel Studios is investing heavily in Disney+ shows that center around brand-new characters in 2022 which will start early in the year with Tatiana Maslany’s She-Hulk. Not only will this series be the first true expansion into the Hulk’s lore since his MCU debut in 2008’s The Incredible Hulk, rumors are pointing to the plot bringing in wild new MCU additions like Charlie Cox’s Daredevil from Marvel’s Netflix shows. Cox has already found himself in the news almost constantly throughout the year, particularly with reports that he would first return as Matt Murdock in Spider-Man: No Way Home....
