We applaud this move, which will eliminate more than 1 billion straws per year. The world has spoken and Starbucks has heard. The giant coffee chain has promised to eliminate straws from all of its 28,000 stores worldwide. Taking a slight diversion from the DC Extended Universe, Warner Bros. kicked off its round of superhero movies in 2022 with Matt Reeves’ The Batman, which became a major success. Robert Pattinson became the third actor behind Bruce Wayne in the 21st century after Christian Bale and Ben Affleck, and he led the way in another beloved DC adventure. The Batman earned rave reviews online, still sitting at an 85% Tomatometer rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and it’s earned more than $750 million at the global box office....

Marvel have always struggled to find their way with Chris Hemsworth’s Thor. The character had originally suffered two largely mediocre titles, but the franchise finally hit its stride as Taika Waititi took up the reigns with Thor: Ragnarök, a film that shifted to a lighter, more comedic tone. MCU fans are still pinching themselves. Daredevil is back and audiences cannot believe it. as Charlie Cox is back as the fan-favorite comic book character after years of work as the hero on Netflix. Cox appeared She-Hulk: Attorney at Law after making his MCU return late last year in Spider-Man: No Way Home, with all this leading up to a series of his own - Daredevil: Born Again.But with Marvel’s Man Without Fear jumping back into the spotlight, there are plenty of questions about the canonicity of the character’s Netflix adventures....
