The rapidly-growing Leyland cypress tree, or Cupressocyparis leylandii, quickly outgrows its space in a typical yard, unless properly and regularly trimmed. These trees have the potential to grow to 60 feet tall. They are not a practical tree to plant as a small yard hedge on tight, six- to eight-foot centers. Tight spacing of the plant means that you must commit major time and effort to constant pruning. Leyland cypress is a short-lived conifer, with a typical lifespan of 20 to 25 years, and will eventually have to be removed....

Obi-Wan Kenobi is set to add a new chapter to the Skywalker Saga as it focuses on the events before Star Wars: A New Hope. The upcoming Disney+ series will feature the much-awaited rematch between the titular Jedi Master and his former friend-turned-Sith Lord Anakin Skywalker a.k.a. Darth Vader. In addition to the galactic bout, the series is also expected to dive into the pair’s unexplored history, meaning that there could be flashbacks during the events of Star Wars The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels....

Dog blood banks are much like people blood banks. Donors are screened, the blood is typed, and sometimes there’s a shortage. The U.S. typically faces dog blood shortage several times a year, says veterinarian Jean Dodds, who runs the Hemopet canine blood bank in Garden Grove, California. “It happens nearly every holiday season and in summertime when epidemics of parvovirus occur,” she told NPR. The highly contagious parvovirus attacks a dog’s cells, and blood transfusions are often necessary....

Episode 5 of Loki introduced audiences to a variety of new Gods/Goddesses of Mischief. Everything ranging from a comic accurate Classic Loki to an Alligator wearing the iconic Asgardian horns. In the middle of all of those variants was a Loki that made the most of his screen time in an episode filled with Easter Eggs and new characters. “Boastful” Loki was first introduced in the post-credits stinger of Episode 4 alongside Classic, Kid, and Alligator Loki....
