For a franchise that already consists of 23 movies over the past twelve years, the Marvel Cinematic Universe is showing no signs of slowing down. After MCU announcements at San Diego Comic Con and the Disney D23 Expo last year, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige just dropped the biggest mic he could find as he announced news for twenty-five unique MCU projects over the next three years at the recent Disney Investor Day....

Just over a year ago, the entire Marvel fandom was waiting with bated breath for the (at the time) impending Spider-Man: No Way Home. Rounding out a banner year back for the MCU, No Way Home delivered a Multiversal experience unlike anything seen before. The film brought together three generations of Spider-Men, earning near-universal praise and becoming one of the biggest movies of all time.Now, nearly a year - and one extended cut - later pretty much everyone has sounded off with their thoughts on the Wall-Crawling threequel....

The current iteration of the Guardians of the Galaxy is set to finish off its MCU run, but there is still a lot to unravel due to the presence of two upcoming projects centered around the team. Before the team’s emotionally infused adventure in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Peter Quill and the rest of the gang will first return in The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special. The upcoming special will reunite every member of the Guardians in a holiday-themed adventure, but exact plot details are still being kept under wraps....

It resulted from a worry that we would soon be back to the world between the great wars, when scientists and doctors knew what caused diseases like tuberculosis, but couldn’t do anything about them. The Marvel Cinematic Universe is unlike anything that has come before it. Being able to tell a cohesive story that interweaves dozens of franchises is an unbelievable feat. One of the biggest moments to cause ripples in its wider story was the Blip in Avengers: Infinity. This went on to influences stories like Endgame and WandaVision in unprecedented ways. To not only kill off half of the heroes in the MCU but also the entire universe for five years was an incredibly bold move by the studios....

Now that theaters are back with both DC and Marvel churning out films like Black Widow and The Suicide Squad, the entertainment world appears to be getting back to normal. However, in regard to the direction of comic book movies still yet to release, things are about to get weird. In addition to Marvel’s Loki on Disney+ unleashing the multiverse for its upcoming slate of films, Warner Bros. is hard at work doing the same with its long-awaited upcoming film The Flash....

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has an expansive library of content that is anchored by its interconnected storytelling. However, the franchise is no stranger to continuity mistakes and behind-the-scenes blunders over the years. Some good examples are visual continuity errors, such as the inconsistent presentation of Tom Holland’s hair in Avengers: Infinity War and the human skin-colored arm of Paul Bettany’s Vision on a WandaVision promo. Meanwhile, behind-the-scenes errors from the MCU include a boom mic that was spotted in the funeral scene from Avengers: Endgame....

Video game adaptations have had a messy history within cinema. They have a terrible record of being… well, not great. That goes for most of them, and it’s a trend that has been difficult to break. Thankfully, the situation has shown signs of change, such as the positive reception to projects like Sonic and Uncharted. One of the most successful examples in recent years was the recent take on Mortal Kombat....

Moon Knight has been a tippy ride for audiences. After all, that’s not unexpected given how the series follows a main character who is dealing with multiple personalities, while also juggling the possession of an Egyptian Moon God. Unsurprisingly, it’s made Oscar Isaac’s leading characters question their own sanity; an effect hopefully not bleeding into those watching from home. There have been several mind-bending scenes throughout the series. As an example, in the show’s third installment, Steven Grant even spun the Egyptian night sky back thousands of years....

Supporters of the Star Wars prequel trilogy have had a tremendous last couple of years. After an early transitionary phase for the company that largely looked past the era, Lucasfilm brought a generation of fans’ childhoods back to life in major ways. It all started back in 2018 when a panel at San Diego Comic-Con dedicated to celebrating the 10th anniversary of Star Wars: The Clone Wars came with a surprise announcement from director Dave Filoni that the beloved animated series would be returning for a final season....

With WandaVision having ended, Phase 4 finally has its first project in the bag. Thankfully, unlike previous years, downtime for the MCU is at an all-time low. In fact, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier premieres this Friday, only two weeks after the finale of WandaVision. Given this trend, fans will be hard-pressed to get a break from new Marvel content. That said, when that rare moment of downtime does occur, people look to the future to become even more excited about what comes next....

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is filled with mind-blowing cameos and thrilling action sequences, thus living up to its title. Directed by Sam Raimi, the MCU sequel revolves around Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange as he deals with a threat from the Multiverse, meaning that it is inevitable that the Master of the Mystic Arts will get to explore other realities. Marketing for the film confirmed that one universe that Strange ends up in has a version of the Illuminati, a secret group composed of several of the world’s most powerful heroes....

We all know that Martin Luther King Jr. was a pivotal figure in the civil rights movement. Most of us know about his work as a pastor and his roles with the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) and the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC). We know he had a dream, and worked tirelessly to make that dream a reality before being assassinated in 1968. But along with the wealth of details that we do know, there are just as many intriguing details that may have sneaked by....

Climbing draws thrill seekers and people who put a premium on personal achievement instead of competition with others. Not only is the film set to release in early 2023, but it’s also posed to launch Phase 5 and the arrival of Kang the Conqueror. Despite the record-breaking success and Multiversal happenings of No Way Home, the one MCU franchise that Marvel fans haven’t heard about at recent conventions and events, is Spider-Man....

Avengers: The Kang Dynasty might be years ahead, but head scribe Jeff Loveness is already teasing the involvement of new MCU heroes introduced in Phase 4. Avengers 5 is expected to have a massive cast, considering that Earth’s Mightiest Heroes will be up against Kang the Conqueror. Still, it is unknown which specific characters will help in the fight. A past rumor revealed that Phase 4 heroes like Sam Wilson’s Captain America and Shuri’s Black Panther would appear, while Shang-Chi star Simu Liu seemingly confirmed his involvement when he expressed excitement about working with Avengers 5 director Destin Daniel Cretton again....

Black Widow plans on exploring much of Natasha Romanoff’s past in-between multiple movies throughout the MCU, some of which will “surprise” fans. Those same fans have guessed when and how Black Widow will explore the former-assassins’ history throughout the long-spanning franchise. Specifically, the movie will deep dive into the events and characters hinted at in The Avengers, such as Black Widow’s interrogation with Loki on the Helicarrier, who rattled lines to Natasha like “Can you wipe out that much red?...
