It seems like the Marvel Cinematic Universe is about to become a whole lot spookier with two-time Oscar-winning actor Mahershala Ali stepping into the role as Blade and possibly Ghost Rider being introduced into the MCU with his own film or show. Additionally, there are rumors of a project featuring Werewolf by Night in the works, with Mexican actor Gael Garcia Bernal taking the monstrous role. During Disney+ Day, footage from Moon Knight was finally shown and even gave fans a glimpse at the hero’s costume, along with some of Oscar Issac’s performance as Marc Spector or one of his other personalities....

Last year’s Spider-Man: No Way Home was an incredible feat of storytelling that brought together three generations of the famous webhead. Not only that, but it became one of the most successful movies of all time. Given this critical and financial win, many might see it as a sign that Sony Pictures could be back on track with its own Spider-Man plans, the next of which being Morbius. The Jared Leto-led film sees Doctor Michael Morbius accidentally turn himself into a vampire after trying to cure his rare blood disease....

The upcoming Sony Marvel film Morbius was recently delayed to January 21, 2022. This was the film’s third delay, initially supposed to come out in July of 2020. With Jared Leto set to play the Living Vampire, many fans got excited after a glimpse of Spider-Man on a poster and an appearance from Michael Keaton’s Adrian Toomes appeared in the first and only Morbius trailer. This teased a major crossover between Sony’s Marvel projects and Disney’s MCU....

Outside of the MCU, Sony Pictures is looking to expand mightily with its cache of Spider-Man-centric movies. One of the most successful in this endeavor was 2018’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, the adventure starring Miles Morales that became one of the best animated films ever made. Now, all eyes are looking forward to the long-awaited sequel, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. The first trailer for this sequel premiered in December 2021 as fans got a look into how Miles would reunite with Hailee Steinfeld’s Gwen Stacy and explore the Multiverse more fully....

Spider-Man: No Way Home is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated MCU movies to date due to the rumors that former Spider-Man actors, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, are set to appear alongside Tom Holland this December. Granted, those rumors have been discredited by certain actors in question, including Tom Holland and Andrew Garfield. But since the multiverse is an element of Phase 4, and both Alfred Molina and Jamie Foxx are set to reprise their past Spider-Man roles of Doc Ock and Electro respectively, fans aren’t quite ready to lay their hopes and theories to rest just yet....

In California, many people are saying that all the wiring should be underground because of fire risk. It won’t happen. Many years ago some Dutch architects were visiting our home and saw this mess of telephone, cable and internet wiring in our backyard (the electricity actually comes in from the front) and asked, ‘Why isn’t it underground like it all is where they live?’ I explained that even in the residential areas of the city (I live in a 100-year-old streetcar suburb), the utilities and politicians say it is way too expensive to retrofit, and they only do underground for new construction or in very high density areas....

After significant production delays and being trapped in development hell for years, Black Adam is finally set to premiere in theaters this year. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will portray the titular anti-hero alongside a stellar cast featuring the Justice Society of America, who will be portrayed by Noah Centineo (Atom Smasher), Pierce Brosnan (Doctor Fate), Quintessa Swindell (Cyclone), and Aldis Hodge (Hawkman). The exact plot details are still being kept under wraps, but trailers have confirmed that it will dive into the origin of Teth Adam while also dealing with the ramifications of his awakening in the present day....

Marvel Studios’ Eternals is making the rounds during its streaming run on Disney+ as fans take in every detail of the cosmic MCU epic. This includes the opportunity to dive deeper into the story that came in the film’s 156-minute runtime. From Ikaris and Sprite’s betrayals to the introduction of Harry Styles’ Starfox, Eternals had no shortage of twists and turns to add to the MCU. Earlier this year, Henry Cavill was rumored to be making an appearance at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) 2022 during Warner Bros. big panel, but he never showed.
