Secondly, well, it’s all about the Multiverse—the same concept explored in both Loki and Spider-Man: No Way Home. The idea opens up an infinite amount of storytelling possibilities. How else would fans have gotten Tom Holland, Andrew Garfield, and Tobey Maguire in the same movie?...

Marvel Studios is now officially back in theaters with Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, featuring director Sam Raimi in his return to superhero movies alongside Benedict Cumberbatch and Elizabeth Olsen leading on-screen. Outside the historic box-office numbers from its Thursday night showings, the Doctor Strange sequel makes MCU history in-universe as well, being the first Marvel movie to tie directly into a Disney+ show in WandaVision. Following Olsen’s leading efforts in last year’s Emmy-award-winning streaming series, she took co-lead billing with Cumberbatch during the MCU’s first full dive into the Multiverse....

If one Hollywood star is to be believed, James Gunn is on the verge of a complete DC Universe (DCU) reset with younger actors filling out the super-powered roster. Gunn and co-CEO Peter Safran’s full DC plan is on the verge of becoming public, but for now, details on the next evolution of the costumed universe remain scarce. What fans do know is the Gunn/Safran duo will have “a few” announcements to make sometime before the end of January, and the DCU is going forward without major player names like Henry Cavill’s Superman or Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman....

After months of waiting, Ms. Marvel has finally debuted on Disney+. The series explores the origin story of Iman Vellani’s Kamala Khan, a Pakistani-American teenager who is a big fan of the Avengers, specifically Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel. Marketing for the MCU show confirmed that Kamala’s powers are not similar to the comics, fueling debate among Marvel fans everywhere. Despite that, early reactions to Ms. Marvel are overwhelmingly positive. And part of that reaction might have to due with its Easter eggs so far....

Ms. Marvel delivered the surprise revelation of Kamala Khan being a mutant - a major departure from her Inhuman comic origins. The shocking twist appears to indicate mutants may be out there in the MCU, and perhaps fans have already been introduced to some of them. Mutant abilities typically come from the presence of the X-gene at birth, often leading to early-life super-powered disasters. The MCU has already delivered a major departure from this as Kamala had her mutant powers activated by an ancient bangle, giving her the ability to draw power from the Noor Dimension, from which her ancestors also originate....

Netflix’s Daredevil showrunner Steven DeKnight is a vocal fan of the upcoming MCU reboot, Daredevil: Born Again, and his latest reaction to a rumor further solidifies that claim. The upcoming Disney+ series is set to bring back Charlie Cox’s Marvel hero to the forefront, but this time, it is expected to be filled with MCU references and Easter eggs. While the main players like Cox as Matt Murdock and Vincent D’Onofrio as Kingpin are already confirmed to return, the involvement of other cast members and DeKnight himself is still in question....
