In the midst of the ongoing changes to the DC Universe (DCU), Aquaman actor Jason Momoa addressed the idea of his underwater hero being recast.In the next few weeks, DC Studios co-CEOs James Gunn and Peter Safran will announce their plans for the newly-revamped DC Universe, ending the former DC Extended Universe after Black Adam. This will include a Justice League lineup full of recast stars, marking the end of the line for a few notable stars that have brought DC’s biggest heroes to life over the last few years....

Warner Bros. and the DC Extended Universe are preparing for a big year after a 2020 in which they brought one of the last fully-theatrical big-budget premieres of the year with February’s Harley Quinn: Birds of Prey. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is shaping up to be a game-changing MCU adventure as Benedict Cumberbatch’s Stephen Strange grapples with the consequences of his spell from Spider-Man: No Way Home. Joining him in his next adventure is an ensemble of new and returning characters, such as Benedict Wong’s Wong, Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda Maximoff, Rachel McAdams’ Christine Palmer, and newcomer Xochitl Gomez as America Chavez. Marketing for Multiverse of Madness has also been ramping up in the past weeks, with Marvel Studios officially releasing more footage, posters, and merchandise for the upcoming sequel....

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’s runtime of 2 hours and 41 minutes made it one of the MCU’s longest movies ever, and now, Marvel Studios producer Nate Moore explained why the Black Panther sequel’s extended length is necessary in order to tell the “epic quality to the story” that director Ryan Coogler wants to deliver.Despite the lengthy runtime, critics are sharing their strong positive reactions to the movie, with them praising Coogler’s vision and the performances of its stellar cast....

This is our chance to commit to new ways of moving around the planet. I’ve been thinking a lot about travel lately, which is ironic because I can’t go anywhere. Much of the world remains in lockdown and, even if everything reopened tomorrow, I would not be lining up to buy a plane ticket. My thoughts on travel are more focused on how damaging the tourism industry has become in recent decades and how this pandemic-induced lockdown is a rare opportunity to rethink the way we move around the globe and to make it more sustainable....
