Many fans are excited about Kang’s upcoming debut in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania in February 2023. However, while the MCU has been thriving on the big screen, several issues have plagued its Disney+ output....

After a long string of delays, Black Widow is finally set to premiere in theaters and on Disney+’s Premier Access on July 9, 2021. While some focus of the film will be on Natasha Romanoff’s Russian family, other parts will hone in on Scarlett Johansson’s hero’s Red Room past, including her relationship with a mysterious man named Dreykov. Originally mentioned to the Russian spy by Loki in 2012’s The Avengers, Dreykov (and his daughter) are seemingly parts of the darker corners of Natasha’s past....

As Warner Bros. continues to work through its merger with Discovery, the company still has plenty of releases to promote and put through their theatrical runs. Most recently, the company ended July with a unique animated project from the DC Universe in DC League of Super-Pets, bringing an incredible voice cast together to play DC’s biggest heroes and their powerful animal companions. Following the confirmation of T’Challa’s death in the MCU, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is set to highlight a massive ensemble from both the African nation and Talocan while still honoring the legacy of the late Chadwick Boseman. Marketing for the sequel has heavily focused on the different heroes and villains from Wakanda and Talocan, with its official theater standee showcasing the nine most important characters from the film. Wakanda Forever’s main trailer also revealed that the movie will attempt to balance the stories of the main characters, as evidenced by the fact that it is one of the longest Marvel movies ever....

Marvel Studios completed its impressive run of content releases in 2021 with the final episode of Hawkeye on Disney+, premiering just in time for this year’s Christmas day. Jeremy Renner’s Clint Barton and Hailee Steinfeld’s Kate Bishop excelled in their first solo adventure as they uncovered a terrifying criminal underworld along with the musings of Yelena Belova and the ever-elusive Wilson Fisk. As has been the case in all of Marvel Studios’ Disney+ series to date, Hawkeye provided a great deal of depth to its leading characters’ personalities and backstories alike....

Progress on the Obi-Wan Kenobi series for Disney+ has been relatively quiet as of late, with a press release for the streaming service suggesting that the series would launch in 2022. Several key members from the production have given some insight into what the series will entail. Obi-Wan Kenobi actor Ewan McGregor spoke about how the series would utilize technology similar to that of The Mandalorian. Showrunner Deborah Chow also noted how the series would “have a coherent voice…from beginning to end....

John Krasinski’s appearance as Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was a dream come true for the many fans who had long been calling for him to be cast in the role. Krasinski did a fantastic (no pun intended) job of bringing the character to life, but perhaps what is most memorable about Reed’s role in the film was his grisly death at the hands of Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda Maximoff/The Scarlet Witch....
