Discovery has certainly not made it easy for fans to have hope for the DCU, but it’s now been made worse with reports of Jason Momoa being done as Aquaman after next year’s Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.It appears that the studio is slowly phasing out members of the Justice League cast by Zack Snyder. Ben Affleck’s Batman cameo in the Aquaman sequel has reportedly been removed, Henry Cavill’s Superman cameo in The Flash might be removed too, and Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman 3 was just canceled....

WandaVision not only evolved the story of Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda Maximoff and Paul Bettany’s Vision, but it also had a memorable weekly run on Disney+ due to the numerous theories that emerged online. Margot Robbie has confirmed that her Pirates of the Caribbean spin-off movie has been canceled by Disney. In 2020, reports revealed that Robbie would headline a spin-off for the aforementioned franchise, replacing lead star Johnny Depp. Back in August, producer Jerry Bruckheimer confirmed that a sixth entry to the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise is happening, thus further cementing Robbie’s involvement and eventual takeover. However, it seems that the hype surrounding The Suicide Squad star’s involvement with Disney’s pirate-centric franchise has died down after a new report of its unfortunate development....

Star Wars’ biggest year yet is finally underway, with The Book of Boba Fett now streaming new episodes on Disney+. The VFX industry’s issues with Marvel Studios came to light recently, and a new report revealed another potential setback for the studio. As Marvel’s content output grew in Phase 4, some VFX artists were reportedly unhappy.
