The MCU’s Spider-Man trilogy that started with 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming has proven to be an incredible success. It’s brought together incredible talent to portray characters from across the pantheon of Spider-Man characters, all leading to one of the biggest solo superhero movies in history with Spider-Man: No Way Home. While most of the movies’ castings have been well received, there has been some frustration about the treatment of several notable characters....

A new report revealed casting information for a deep-cut DC Comics character set to debut in HBO Max’s The Penguin series with close ties to the Joker. After Barry Keoghan’s Joker was teased at the tail-end of Matt Reeves’ The Batman, fans have been itching to know when audiences would see/hear from the villain again. One place many did not expect the character to pop up though was in the upcoming Penguin-centric spin-off HBO Max series....

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law premiered with an exciting first episode, showcasing the interesting origin of Tatiana Maslany’s Jennifer Walters and her dynamic with her cousin, Mark Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner. The new MCU series not only introduced another hero into the fold, but it is also expected to feature cameo appearances from several characters, such as Benedict Wong’s Wong and Charlie Cox’s Daredevil. Aside from the stars mentioned, She-Hulk also features a stellar cast that includes the likes of Ginger Gonzaga, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Jameela Jamil, Josh Segarra, and Jon Bass....

Given the nature of Kenobi and the popularity of the MandoVerse, Star Wars: Andor has largely flown under the radar as its release draws near. Announced in late 2018, the series will be the first spy thriller in the galaxy far, far away, with Diego Luna reprising his role of Cassian Andor from Rogue One. Several other familiar faces from the spin-off film are reportedly returning as well, including Ben Mendelsohn’s Director Krennic and Forrest Whittaker’s Saw Gerrera....

The CW’s Supergirl is coming to an end in its upcoming sixth season, officially ending Kara Zor-El’s journey in the Arrowverse. Throughout its five-season run thus far, Supergirl had its fair share of ups and downs. Originally produced for CBS, the Melissa Benoist-led series moved to The CW to eventually cross over to other Arrowverse shows such as The Flash and Arrow. This move was monumental for Supergirl, allowing the character to be included in several massive crossover episodes such as Crisis on Earth X and the highly-talked-about Crisis on Infinite Earths....

Lucasfilm recently dropped in to remind everyone that The Mandalorian is still a sensation with a Disney Gallery episode showcasing the triumphant return of Luke Skywalker. While the company has largely followed standard protocol by remaining radio silent on forthcoming productions, The Book of Boba Fett is still slated to release this December. With any luck, fans can hope to see some of the first pieces of promotional material for the project by October, at the very least....

It was quite fortunate that James Gunn and Warner Bros. managed to finish filming for The Suicide Squad just as the pandemic struck the industry, with post-production being easy enough to accomplish in-house and with the help of international SFX studios. Warner Bros. is still attempting to work around the pandemic as it threatens to further delay other productions like Matt Reeves’ The Batman. Despite filming for The Suicide Squad having finished over a year ago, fans still haven’t gotten a proper trailer, besides a sneak peek of production at DC FanDome....
