Star Wars fans are still catching their collective breath from the stunning conclusion to The Mandalorian Season 2, but there’s much more live-action Star Wars to come. As was teased during “Chapter 16’s” post-credit scene and formally announced on Good Morning America by Jon Favreau, The Book of Boba Fett is currently in production and will release next December. The Mandalorian’s third season will begin production immediately following the conclusion of Fett’s, and Obi-Wan Kenobi is due to start rolling the camera in March....

The idea of a turncoat Stormtrooper, introduced in 2015’s Star Wars: The Force Awakens, gave fans a lot of excitement for the future of the franchise. John Boyega’s FN-2817, aka “Finn,” was a unique character that hadn’t yet been seen before in a Star Wars film. How Finn’s character ultimately played out through episode 7-9, however, has been criticized by fans and even Boyega himself.
