Phase 4 of the MCU has introduced an impressive slate of new heroes and villains; but in terms of real-world MCU baddies, that title may belong to review bombers. Many of Marvel Studios’ latest projects, such as Eternals, Moon Knight, and Ms. Marvel have faced backlash from online reviewers due to cultural or divisive content and representation; and the MCU’s latest series, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, is no different. If anything, it’s actually worse....

Drivers want to blame bike lanes for causing congestion, but they really should look in the mirror to see the problem. One of the first actions Rob Ford did when elected mayor of Toronto was to rip out a new bike lane, because the people just north of the street were supposedly going to be five minutes late for dinner. No matter that the accident rate had dropped because the confusion was gone, or that bike usage tripled; you can’t mess with people rushing home for dinner....

The freezer can be your best friend when it comes to preventing unnecessary food waste at home. Food waste continues to be a serious problem, with an estimated 30 to 40 percent of food intended for human consumption going to landfill. While some of the spoilage occurs in the field and during processing and transportation to supermarkets, the vast majority happens in refrigerators, where too many items end up languishing till they rot, at which point they get tossed in the trash....

An Agents of SHIELD actress was cast in the MCU’s Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.Now that Phase 4 of the MCU has officially come to a close, Marvel fans are turning their attention to Phase 5, which kicks off in February 2023 with Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.While the film is set to explore Scott Lang’s newfound celebrity and his relationship with the now teenage Cassie Lang, Ant-Man 3 trailers showed that much of the threequel will take place in the Quantum Realm, where Scott will come face-to-face with Kang the Conqueror....

James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy franchise is already regarded as a modern classic by many fans due to its unique tone, visuals, and characters. Both films have famously featured the deaths of major characters as both Groot and Yondu sacrificed themselves to save the team across the two films. Meanwhile, the concluding installment in the trilogy is set to release in 2023 and is expected to include yet another major death....

James Gunn is a powerhouse in the comic book movie sphere. While he wrote and directed projects before Guardians of the Galaxy, the Marvel Studios cosmic adventure is the movie that put him on the map. Not only did he craft a fantastic film, but he took an entire group of characters out of obscurity and gave them the spotlight, turning them into household names. With his latest theatrical movie, The Suicide Squad, he managed to do it again, with one of the lead villains getting his own spin-off show: Peacemaker....

For fans of on-screen Marvel entertainment, March of 2022 looks to offer more options than ever. In addition to Spider-Man: No Way Home’s new digital release date of March 15, as well as Oscar Isaac’s Moon Knight Disney+ debut on March 30, Marvel’s string of Netflix series, and ABC’s Agents of SHIELD, are set to arrive on Disney+ on March 16. While the home release of a record-breaking film, and the first MCU Disney+ series of 2022 is significant news, the latter additions have been making waves of their own....

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is already two episodes into its six-part run, and the latest installment was filled with a lot more to digest than the premiere. Wyatt Russel’s John Walker took up the Captain America mantle, Isaiah Bradley made his MCU debut as a former super-soldier, and Bucky was arrested by two seemingly racist police officers. DIsney+’s latest blockbuster packed a lot more action into its 50-minute run time than the first as the titular duo took on the super-strong Flag Smashers with some help from John Walker and his sidekick Hoskins....

Clint Barton did not have a good time during the Blip. While he missed out on all the action in Avengers: Infinity War, that came back to bite him when he lost his entire family after Thanos snapped his fateful fingers. From there, everything went downhill fast, as he took up the Ronin mantle and started his murder spree. That’s obviously a very dark point in the character’s story. So, one would be forgiven for thinking the recent Disney+ series Hawkeye was going to be a grim affair....

As electric vehicle use spreads, demand for more—and faster—charging stations will grow too. So far, when businesses have looked at installing electric vehicle charging, most have opted to go for slower, Level 2 charging which provides most vehicles with about 20 miles of charge in an hour. (A little more for Tesla destination chargers.) As the number of electric vehicles grows, however, and as their range/battery capacity increases, there’s a high likelihood that drivers will have more demand for faster-charging options too....

So, Leonardo da Vinci was, you know, pretty interesting. Not only did he like to paint, invent things, draw, sculpt, and indulge his interests in architecture, science, music, math, mountaineering, engineering, literature, anatomy, geology, astronomy, botany, writing, history, cartography, paleontology, and ichnology (see how much people did before they got lost in Internet rabbit holes all day?) – but by most accounts, he was also a vegetarian. This bit of information has long been lodged in my brain and has often made me wonder this: What did a 15th-century vegetarian diet in Italy look like?...

With fans still reeling from the unveiling of James Gunn’s DC Universe (DCU), the DC Studios co-CEO revealed that he is looking at another franchise for inspiration, that being Star Wars. To close out January, Gunn took the moviegoing world by storm, announcing the first ten movies and TV series from his reenvisioned DCU. This first wave of projects is titled ‘Chapter 1: Gods and Monsters’, and will include new takes on Superman, the Bat Family, and the horror-tinged Swamp Thing....

The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special featured Cosmo the dog as the newest member of the MCU’s fan-favorite cosmic team, but this isn’t the only reveal that the Disney+ special confirmed. At this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 director James Gunn confirmed that Cosmo is part of the team in the threequel, revealing that Maria Bakalova will voice the character. Interestingly, this isn’t the first time that the MCU included Cosmo....

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is set to bring dozens of new characters into the franchise when Phase 4 finally debuts next year, although its first theatrical release will be a blast to the past with the Black Widow solo movie. Coming in as Scarlett Johansson’s first solo film in the MCU after seven previous starring appearances since 2010, this film will dive deep into Widow’s history both before and after her debut in Iron Man 2, with the film largely centered around her adventure on the run between Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War....

Fans are finally able to meet these near-immortal beings that Marvel Studios has been talking about for years now. The cast includes big names such as Angelina Jolie and Richard Madden—all playing regal characters who have protected Earth for thousands of years. There’s one Eternal, however, who is clearly different from the rest: Lia McHugh’s Sprite....

This corner of the MCU Multiverse is home to quite a few elements that are not (yet) present in the main Earth (Earth-616) explored in Marvel Studios’ various projects. For starters, Earth-838 is home to not only mutants, and very likely by extension, the X-Men, but also to none other than Marvel’s First Family: the Fantastic Four....

As promised, Moon Knight has been a Marvel Studios production like no other. This mystery-based series, starring Oscar Isaac and Ethan Hawke, isn’t just the first MCU project of 2022, but it also broke new ground in terms of its supernatural focus, mature tone, and lack of connections and Easter eggs to the greater Marvel Cinematic Universe. Moon Knight is also unique in that its hero struggles with Dissociative Identity Disorder, and much of the show’s plot and mystery happens to be rooted in the character’s mental state and his various personalities....

Disney+ has offered Marvel Studios the ability to experiment with genres and formats that were previously impossible on the big screen. WandaVision already proved to be the studio’s first sitcom. Now, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law will dive into the legal comedy genre as Tatiana Maslany’s Jennifer Walters debuts as a superhero lawyer working in the MCU. Up until now, the deepest exploration of the law in the MCU came with Daredevil, as Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock served as a lawyer-by-day and superhero-by-night....
